About this site
This site is the main repository for fiction written by Rachel Greenham:
Tuck Squared and its sequel, The Taken, use characters and situations originally from The Saga of Tuck and Tuck Season by Ellen Hayes and, via the latter, from the Tales of the Season, originated by Joel Lawrence and continued in the main by Tigger.
While you'll probably need to have read Tuck and Tuck Season, and at least some of the Seasons stories, to get the most out of Tuck Squared, I've at least made the attempt to make The Taken stand on its own, at least from Chapter 1 (after the Prologue) onwards.
Some chapters contain snippets of dialogue in French. If you don't understand it, you can move your mouse over the text to see a translation to English in the right margin. Alternatively, if you register for your own user account, you can select an alternate site 'theme' which shows only the translation in the main body of the text. You can think of this as a choice between subtitles and dubbed dialogue. (The option of a "dubbed" them has not [yet] been re-implemented.)
(The subtitles were probably a mistake, in retrospect.)
Game Theory is, at least, all my own; started as a NaNoWriMo project that got out of hand, and because I needed another holiday from The Taken, I suppose; and a different way of writing. It's a deliberate attempt to write quickly. Even so, it turns out I'm not really a speed-writer, and it's taking far too long to finish, so I can get back to The Taken. But it isprogressing.
Well, I've signed up
I think reading your speed written story may be easier here. I'll try to avoid moaning as I'm wont to do - so my wife tells me LOL
